●ANIMATION FILM● MANIE-MANIE MEIKYU MONOGATARI (MANIE-MANIE 迷宮物語)

Today it was premiered in this year's Tōkyō International Fantastic Film Festival, MANIE-MANIE MEIKYU MONOGATARI (MANIE-MANIE 迷宮物語). An omnibus project in which directors Yoshiaki Kawajiri (川尻 善昭), Rintaro (りんたろう) and Kastuhiro Otomo (大友 克洋)  have collaborated with three short films. Other than festival screenings the film was directly released in video format in October 10, 1987. Later on April 15, 1989 it was released  theatrically in Japan. The 50 minute long project consisted on three short films: HASHIRU OTOKO (走る男), LABYRITH (ラビリンス) and KOUJI CHUUSHI MEIREI (工事中止命令 ) this last one written and directed by Katsuhiro Otomo.
