This month's ANIMAGE (アニメージュ) Magazine comes with a 74 page appendix: ANIMAGE SHORT COMICS PARADE '87 - YOKOMA MANGA DAI KŌSHIN (四コマ漫画大行進). Among the participating works two original Katsuhiro Otomo stories were published: TOKOTON SORE MADE KUN (とことんそれまでくん) and NICHIJŌ NO NAKA NO MONOGATARI (日常の中の物語). Today was released in Japan the OVA (Original Video Animation) MANIE-MANIE MEIKYU MONOGATARI (MANIE-MANIE 迷宮物語). As the name OVA indicates this movie was directly released on video format for the first time ans was not released theatricaly before. The movie consist in three short animation films:

●HASHIRU OTOKO (走る男) directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri (川尻 善昭)
●LABYRITH (ラビリンス) directed by Rintaro (りんたろう)
●KOUJI CHUUSHI MEIREI (工事中止命令 ) written and directed by Kastuhiro Otomo (大友 克洋) with animation direction by Takashi Nakamura (なかむら たかし)

Katsuhiro Otomo has drawn twelve illustrations for the NISSAN 'FEEL THE BEAT' brochure. The illustration are collected in pages 40~41 of the artbook KABA.
