Today it was released in Japan GENMA TAISEN (幻魔大戦) the last animation film directed by Rintaro (りんたろう) in which Katsuhiro Otomo has collaborated as character designer. The movie is based in the novel written by Kazumasa Hirai (平井 和正) that was also adapted to manga by Shotaro Ishinomori (石ノ森 章太郎) and started it's serialization in 1967 in Weekly Shōnen Magazine (週刊少年マガジン)
