SYNOPSIS
Hipira is a young vampire living in the town of Salta where it's never morning. Elena, his classmate, tells him of a strange light coming out of Doyen's house.
HIPIRAKUN (ヒピラくん)is a 13 episode animated mini-series based on the homonym short illustrated stories written by Otomo with artwork by Shinji Kimura(木村 真二) on 2001. Kimura himself years later directed this series that was originally aired on the Japanese TV network NHK-BS2 from December 21 to 25, 2009 and then collected in DVD and Blu-ray.
The original illustrated stories were published as HIPIRAKUN (ヒピラくん) on NeNe (ねーねー) magazine during the years 2001 and 2002 and later collected as a single volume book.
