Katsuhiro Otomo debuted as a manga artist today in this special edition of Manga Action magazine whose cover illustration was drawn by Otomo himself. The published work was JŪSEI (銃声) a 24 page long manga based on a original story by the 19th century French writer Prosper Mérimée.
