The issue No.244 of French anime magazine ANIMELAND marks the arrival of a new formula, from now on, each issue of the magazine will present itself as an ultimate guide to a manga, a franchise or a theme including three times more text than before, thus making it a publication to keep and cherish. To mark this shift and to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the film AKIRA, this issue dedicates around 100 pages out of 144 to Katsuhiro Otomo and his film.
