Otomo's note from Anthology's postface
I've got really found memories about writting this story all on my own, without help from anybody. I used 4C, Japan's first video-colouring system, in which I painted the work onto a monitor and then photographed the result. The coulours are really high-quality, right? I thought that the splash page wasn't very interesting, so I devised this plan for spicing it up... I started out thinking which pages needed colouring, and which didn't. At the time, Young Magazine didn't seem to mind what I did...
